I disagree that this is a pear shape corset because it has a 10-in rib spring which is nearly impossible to find. I would consider this an hourglass because both the rib and hip springs are substantial.
That being said I own this corset and like it because it is curvy and it has a sturdy under busk which is critical in tightlacing to prevent the abdomen from caving in with frequent use.
