Emmaline Voss –
I got the 24″ standard underbust in beige mesh. The mesh was very heavy duty, in fact I scraped the skin off my knuckle trying to do up the ties. I was surprised to see there was no twill covering on the inside of the bone casings. There are relatively few bones in this corset, 12 spiral steel, 4 flat steel, and I found it very hard to not get a () shape. I tried 4 different lacing methods, including 3 with the inverted loops to get more control at the waist. No dice. No matter how loose the laces, I still got the () gap. I haven’t had that with any other corset, including other 24″ ones. It did measure true to size and was comfortable to sit in. It also has a very sturdy busk that is difficult to bend. The lacing was honestly the biggest turn-off for me.
